In the L-series, the Canon EF 14mm f/2.8L USM ultra wide angle lens has the shortest focal length. It features an aspherical lens to correct distortion and astigmatism to produce excellent image quality. Physical features include a fixed, petal-type hood and the rear has a gelatin filter holder.
