EF-S 60mm f/2.8 Macro USM
The Canon EF-S 60mm f/2.8 Macro USM lens employs a modern design optimized for certain Canon EOS digital SLRs. The viewing angle is the same as a 96mm lens on a 35mm camera, with a floating optical system that can focus down to full life-size (1:1) magnification. The lens’ overall length doesn’t change while focusing because a fast and quite ring-type USM powers the inner focusing.
The EF-S 60mm f/2.8 Macro USM is an excellent general purpose lens that’s nice for taking pictures of macro shots, portraits or available-light photos. Like all Canon EF-S Lenses, (as of February 2005) its optimally designed for and works strickly with the EOS 20D, EOS Digital Rebel and EOS Digital Rebel XT cameras.
